I came upstairs this morning to find my lady friend sending an email from my email account. This kind of invasion of privacy is going to make it difficult to carry on a torrid love affair.

@rcrackley some people have joint email accounts… 😬

@ChrisJWilson I'm thinking about pressing charges for identity theft.

@rcrackley Not good. Could it be that she thought of it as a shared thing, and also thought it wasn’t necessary to ask you first?

Did she have something to gain by doing this, or was it just a random email to a friend or relative?

I think talking this through with her is a best first move, (although I don’t know your situation in detail). It’s easy to be offended, but usually good to let the benefit of the doubt steer the further conversation.

@odd It's all good. She had ordered something through Paypal and used my account (which I knew about). She was just emailing to check status.

@rcrackley My wife and I have a shared gmail (need to switch to an email that isn't creepy) and I recently moved over things like paypal, etc. to that shared email so that she'll see the updates as well. I know this is a joke but just sharing. 🤪
