@Omrrc I feel like a lot of Chinese dish/food names get quite lengthy or just sound strange if they are translated into English 😆 Seeing the English entree names at somewhat authentic Chinese restaurants in the US sometimes makes me laugh, but if the Chinese is included then I can understand where the translation is coming from. Curious to know which things your family usually translates into English!

@Omrrc What do you usually call 肉夹馍 and 煎饼? I find these things kind of awkward to say in English 😅
@val Sorry, I misread. Those are the things we always say in Chinese. We don’t do it the other way around though, using English in a Chinese sentence.
@Omrrc Had to look up “custard”, at first I read that as “mustard”, and thought hmm, yeah, that sounds delicious! 🤔
