listen to immigrants. we chose this country over the country of our birth and we often offer valuable perspective on how to make it better. I’m not saying fast food places need to carry pani puri but there are some more practical ideas out there

@wrenman Good perspective. Although there often are talked about negative sides of immigration, (often illusory), there is seldom talk about all the benefits. What would America be if there were only English people there? (I have nothing against the modern day English people, (give or take a few)), but the richness of options and skillsets are America’s strength.

@odd diversity is strength in any aspect of life. diversity doesn't mean you will be forced into bad ideas (which is what I think the majority class believes) but being open to an outside perspective of good ideas. this is why most businesses value diversity and make a conscious effort towards inclusiveness in hiring and ideating because that's how you succeed in whatever it is you're doing

@wrenman Yep, I’ve been in companies that saw this relatively early in their existence, and grew big, (relatively speaking) quite fast, and got the best employees because of their inclusiveness.
