@jean Uh oh. I recall when I had 'fireworks' at the edge of my left eye. Same vitreous thing I think. I ended up having floaters 'shot' out of my eye with a laser the day before we travelled to Spain. These adjustments are tricky, eh!

@jean I got only the first part of the latin, until I read the post. Now I know I have myodesopsia! I wonder if those flashes are brought on by exertion of the eyes… The flies, or worms/bacteria as I see them as, were annoying at first for me, but then I got used to them. I got the first ones when I was only 21. Bad dental health and student diet may have quickened it for me. However small the problem is, I wish I could have the eyesight of my youth back. 👀

@jean I never knew that the little spots I’ve seen most my life had a scientific name.

I can relate to the disorientation when a new one shows up. I really hope the adjustment happens fast and that headaches plague you no more.
