@numericcitizen No, Apple, please don't. Or at least make it optional, and off by default.

@artkavanagh I’m mostly fine with it too. Currently there are two things that bother me with iOS: When you have several open browser windows in Safari, and you want to close some or all of them, the tap-target (the ❎) is too small and because of the tilted accordion display it is very easy to miss the ❎. The other thing, also with Safari, is that when you’re trying to edit the URL in the address field, it is to easy to either mark parts you don’t want to remove, or accidentally tap the ❎ in the address field.

@odd If they had no ❎ in the address field, and a “Burn”-button like DuckDuckGo, it would solve 99% of the problems.

@odd I had almost forgotten that the Safari window view had (x) to close. I swipe them away instead.

@numericcitizen The loupe or something that lets me see the cursor location under my finger. It’s maddening.

@odd I swipe on the tabs to close them, works well most of the time. Also find the X too small...

@odd Editing the address field is a nightmare, I agree. It selects the whole address, which might be quite long, but there doesn‘t seem to be any way to collapse the selection. Once or twice, I’ve resorted to copying the whole field, pasting it into Tot and editing it there and then pasting the edited address back into the address field.
