I used to blog a lot about the App Store, and it often felt like I was one of only a handful of people who were on the same page about the 30% and exclusive distribution. Now that opinion is effectively mainstream. No need to blog much about it because it is well-covered.
@manton I hope I’ll never have to buy an app outside of the App Store in the future. I want Apple to keep improving the App Store but not at the cost of being like Android or even, the Mac. Unpopular opinion, I know.
@numericcitizen I don't think it's an unpopular opinion. I bet most people agree with you! But it's a lot closer to 50/50 than it was a few years ago, especially with developers.
