@khurt can I convince you to take your beer posts and put them in another RSS feed and remove them from your main? You can still syndicate it everywhere, but I'll be able to skip the posts on my RSS feed reader...
@khurt you could use a plugin or setup a special feed that removes just your Beer category (the secret sauce is that you need the category ‘number’ to exclude it). This page guides one really well - www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutori...
@khurt the way to solve that is to leave your feed.php the same so nothing changes on your main feed, but to create a copy of that called feed-nobeer.php (or feed-Nitin 😊) which will skip the beer posts. Which way are you exploring - plugin or manually creating the feed?
@khurt heh yeah what WordPress doesn’t have are un-category feeds. What I want is everything from your site but the beer stuff. What if you post something interesting in a category that I haven’t followed? Or you create a new category on a whim?
I’ll follow specific categories for now... 😊
