Deleted YouTube from my iPhone. I’ll still view videos from channels I follow via RSS, but I’ll open them in CornerTube now and use picture-in-picture so I can listen/watch while using other apps.

@mdrockwell TIL CornerTube. How is that still in the store? Seems like google would have had it pulled. I’ve mostly used YouTube from the browser for a while now.

@mdrockwell is it possible to subscribe to a YouTube channel via #RSS? I didn't know that.

@mcg no idea why Google hasn’t done anything about it, but I’m very happy it’s still available.

@duncanhart yup, that’s how I follow YouTube channels now. Google doesn’t make them easy to find, though. I wrote about it earlier this year: initialcharge.net/2021/02/y...
