I wish Safari handled RSS feeds better. I just want to see a preview of the feed and then copy the URL.

@mdrockwell you’d think it would, considering you used to be able to subscribe to them using it way back when.

@pimoore I should have clarified iOS Safari, but yes, it used to handle them so much better. Asking me what app to open without any option to just copy the link is a terrible experience.

@mdrockwell agreed, I’ve just gotten in the habit of copying and pasting the website link in Reeder, and letting it find the RSS feed(s) by itself. For the once in a blue moon that doesn’t work I have to manually intervene, usually by appending “feed” or “rss” on the end.

@pimoore I can usually work around it in that way too. But I’m working with RSS-Bridge at the moment and it generates an RSS feed based on your input. You submit the form and you’re taken to the feed, no opportunity to copy the feed URL at all.
