@jeannie That's great. Personally what happens with me is if I'm not posting every day, I start to overthink everything. "Oh, it's been a while so the next post needs to be really good!" Getting into a habit removes that pressure.

@manton I just vomit words all over the internetz. It is frightening how the half digested biles of thought congeal into some kind of post.

@manton yes and this post has made me realise I need to put my public twitter / insta archive somewhere else ASAP. I don’t think I’ll buy another microblog as it’s an archive but might spin up a WordPress on my VPS as the archive.Hoping the import tools are a simple as MB.

@adamprocter I've been thinking about bringing back the M.b tweets import, but instead of making them blog posts, just let the whole HTML archive that Twitter provides be served separately on your blog.

@manton I like that idea, of a particular silo becoming a section of your blog. I've done that elsewhere with tumblr exports.

@danj Thanks. I think it's a good fit for content that is missing some context when moved between platforms. So importing from WordPress or Medium to a Micro.blog-hosted blog works great, but moving tweets (especially replies and retweets) feels out of place. Those archives can still be at your domain name but off to the side.
