Great updates to the Apple Watch, as usual. I really need to upgrade from my Series 0. I say that every year but it just keeps working.

@manton not the edition I hope :D

@manton Yeah, I'm thinking I need to put the original out to pasture.

@tsmyther I may end up just getting the Series 3 for a simple upgrade.

@manton I will most likely go with the Series 4, for the heart health stuff. Plus, it doesn’t have the always-on “feature”.

@manton your excuse can be that the Series 0 won’t run the new OS. Luckily my Series 1 buys at least another year’s reprieve.

@manton How in the world does your Series 0 still work? Mine went dead after two years of continuous use. When I went in for a battery upgrade they gave me a brand new Series 1.

@manton I upgraded from Series 0 to 3 last year (after the 4 came out and the price dropped). I couldn’t justify the price of the 4 (especially when my 0 was still working). I’ve been very happy with the Series 3, massive improvement over the original!

@matt17r Good to hear, thanks!

@fahrni I keep expecting it to stop working. The battery is the worst part.

@manton I went from a Series 0 to a Series 4 last year and it was a blessing. The old battery was an issue but worse for me is how completely unresponsive it became when trying to start or stop workouts. It could take a minute to start one.

@manton how’s the battery life on it now? My series 0 drained in less than 8 hours, I had to upgrade to a series 3.

@manton the refurb/clearance 4s will be the "Best Buy". The bigger screen makes a huge diff!

@tsmyther I'm with you. I don't want my sales data always displaying. If it was more like what you get on low post mode (just the digital time) that would be better

@ronguest I made the same switch from Series 0 to 4 this winter. Still love the original, but it was time to switch since its battery barely lasted a full day.

@dodi Battery life is not good. I sometimes charge it briefly in the middle of the day or evening if I really need to.

@tsmyther @manton I sold my 3 to my sister so I could get the 4 earlier this year for better heart rate, bigger screen, etc. Worth it! Was initially very tempted by the 5s always on screen (ala Pebble!) but I think I’ll stick with just upgrading my 7 to 11 ;)

@manton I preordered the Series 3 when it first launched. 2 years later it's still going strong, and I get 2-4 days out of a single charge, depending on usage. I highly recommend it!

@manton forgot to add - at the new price point I think the 3 is a steal. I just bought one for my son's birthday

@manton My Series 0 finally gave up the ghost after about 4 years of dutyfull serverice. Thought about repairing it but the always on screen on the new one tipped me over the edge. If it last as long i'll be very happy though.
