@jacob Just saw that email too... It says a lot about how much VoodooPad got right that new developers want to keep it going.
@manton granted, previous buyers said the same and it appears that they barely touched it. I don’t know though if it was because of their priorities or the code add is bad or difficult or they had too large plans.
@jacob I'd guess that it's difficult for some companies to acquire an app and make it a priority. Not the first Mac app that has gotten lost in a larger company.
@jacob Plausible said for years they were modernising it, all while the user forum collected spam. I gave up on them long ago. Fingers crossed for the new owners.
@canion this is great news! I jumped ship last year and migrated my stuff to mweb. Looking forward to a new Voodoo Pad.
@adiabatic Could be. I don't want to speculate too much, but there are certainly no guarantees in running a small software business.
