@manton Have you changed something about webmentions on micro.blog this past week? In the past replies here to my posts (syndicated from my blog) arrived on my blog as webmentions but now that seems to not work. I've changed hosting during the week, so it might be a problem on my end.
@MrHenko No, nothing has changed with Webmentions recently. I checked the logs and it looks like it's trying to ping your site with replies.
@manton Thank's for the reply. It seems like webmentions has stopped working on my site since I moved from shared hosting to my own VPS. I'm trying so sort it out now but I'm completely out of ideas.
Just as a long shot, you don't happen to know about some fiddly setting or something that will cause WP to responde 500 to an attempt to send a webmention?
@MrHenko Not aware of anything that would cause that, if the rest of WordPress seems to be working well. My first guess was trouble connecting back to verify the link in the post, but I think I do see those connections to Micro.blog.
@manton I've been able to verify that the problem is with all webmentions, not just those coming from Micro.blog or any other subset of them. When I run at test like the one at webmention.rocks it says my webmention endpoint returns an invalid HTTP status code when mentions are attempted to be sent. Other than this my WP installation works fine, so it's really confusing to me. Anyway, thank you for looking into the logs for me.
@MrHenko It seems to be working now! (I didn't have mb_string() installed with php and that made another plugin fail which in turn made webmentions fail. Is there a way to get micro.blog to attempt to resend those webmentions?
