Not receiving push notifications? We think we’ve resolved the issue, although you may need to re-install the Micro.blog app for it to start working again. Give it a day to sort itself out while the app and Apple’s server get in sync.

@manton fingers crossed. Do we need to reinstall the Gluon app too?

@manton Thanks for solving

Unrelated to the notification but related to the Timeline: I added my Tumblr's RSS feed into the Timeline and the posts look like they're native, which is great! They look even better than Wordpress posts in my experience. But for some reason, it takes at least an hour or two for new posts to show up. Refreshing manually doesn't help either. Do you know what could be happening?

@uncertainquark Micro.blog has some rules about slowing down how often it checks RSS feeds if a paid account is cancelled or not active recently, so most likely that is happening here. The logic may need tweaking for this case.

@manton Makes sense. Thanks for the quick response.

@manton A follow-up related to the Timeline: Since micro.blog welcomes bringing your own RSS feed(s) to the Timeline and interact with others for free, don't you think at least the Timeline shouldn't display the message "Your hosted microblog has expired. Please upgrade to continue posting to your site." all the time?

Other sections of the interface having it makes total sense but on the Timeline it's a bit too prominent and not helpful for people who've already decided to participate via a non-micro.blog hosted blog: i.postimg.cc/YCWdLhNz/...

I'm not just saying this for my sake but considering it in the context of the micro.blog Timeline and its community being an independent selling point, and which is truly awesome!

@uncertainquark I guess the problem is there's no way to tell if someone accidentally let their blog expire and needs the reminder, or if they never plan to update. Probably a "don't remind me" button would be best.

@manton Sounds good to me. Or the New post, Posts, and other such sections can continue showing that message while only the Timeline doesn't.
