I’ll be attending IndieWebCamp West later this month. It’s online-only, centered in the west coast timezone, but anyone around the world is welcome. Need to think about IndieWeb-related goals for Micro.blog that week.

@manton that's great! I've been attending to IndieWebCamp London with Calum Ray and Ana Rodrigues. I'm learning how to implement webmentions and made some nice progress.

@manton some things I'd love to see:

1. Better support for redirects to make it easier to keep my old URLs (we discussed some methods on Slack).
2. Documentation of "differences" in Micro.blog from stock Hugo (more like, what needs to be there for full support), including documentation of different IndieWeb functions as snippets-- this would make it easier to convert existing Hugo themes or have contributed themes more broadly that work well/add features to our custom sites as Micro.blog adds them (for example, I'd love for you to do a "best" implementation of in-reply-to for link style posts.
3. Sync theme to Github, even if it's just a backfeed -- press a button, create a branch with a commit with the changes stored on micro.blog versus master or something similar.
4. Support for adding an event and/or checkin to a post.

@manton Is there a way to find and follow an account via the macOS app and I'm missing it?

Use case, I found @paulopinto's web site randomly, I see that he's on M.b but there is no way to find his account in the app so that I can follow it.

@cdevroe That's true, from the web it's easier to follow someone from their profile page in Micro.blog on the web. The Mac app doesn't have any search or user lookup yet.
