@ohBananaJoe Yes. It’s his “backup-phone”, he’s got a SE 2. Gen. also, so he’s fine. Hear you on the Android ways of doing it! Had Androids before. Hope Big G will change their rules and require at least 5 years.

@odd not even G can sustain it for that long (see Pixel line), much more the third party manufacturers. The third party manufacturers earn from handset sales - not in their best interest to continue supporting old models beyond warranty. Only G earns from app sales.
