@Cheri I never could bring myself to watch Jaws. It came out when I was a teenager in Miami Beach, and I was afraid it would ruin the ocean for me. Which it did anyway. 😱
This year, I watched it for the Old Movie Club podcast, and I did enjoy it. It scared me at all the right places even though I knew what would happen.
I then read Close to Shore, the book about the 1916 attacks that inspired Jaws. It was really interesting.

Jaws was one of the first horror movies I saw as a kid, along with Carpenter’s The Thing and Stephen King’s Children of the Corn.
I still find the music chilling.
