You have three weeks to finish your Seven-Of-Nine rewatch to prepare for the debut of Picard on Jan. 23. My recommended episodes will take you about 12 hours, so you’ve still got time. Resistance is futile.🖖

@macgenie Jeri Ryan steals the preview.

She seems very sweet online but she plays bitches so well.

@macgenie Oooh. I so hope we can watch Picard in NZ. Discovery was on NZ Netflix, so there's hope.

@Miraz Fingers crossed for you. TBH, I wasn't particularly excited until they revealed 7 of 9 is in it. I like Picard and TNG, but felt finished with that character.

@macgenie Well, I'm keen for more Star Trek in general, but you know my favourite. 😀

@Miraz I tried the new show with Scott Balkula, but dropped off quickly, felt too I dunno, forced in terms of themes and lessons

@jgmac1106 it doesn’t get much better, but the fourth (last) season actually has a few great short story arcs

@macgenie nice list! Seven of nine is one of my favourite characters. I very much like ST: Voyager s05e02 Drone 🖖. Next to Seven of nine’s usual mastery of (Borg) technology, she shows her fragile side caring for the twenty-ninth century borg.

@DrKnittyGritty I have to admit I wasn't crazy about Seven the first time I watched, because I saw her through the creators' intended lens: eye candy to attract back the male fans who perhaps didn't care for a female captain.

But over time, I stopped noticing the catsuit and started to appreciate what a great smart character that Seven is. After Janeway, she's my favorite.
