@lukebouch That’s great! I am so angry at myself for giving mine to the recycling station a couple of years ago. I couldn’t find the antenna. Then a month later I found it!

@lukebouch As I write this I suddenly realize I was talking about a CB radio. A BDR Ranger (from the early 80s). 🤦🏻‍♂️

@odd I had a CB at one time too. I also got into HF ham radio, but decided to sell that a while ago. Now I just have my $35 Baofeng which I just found.

@odd it’s a Baofeng UV-5R but I would recommend you get the newer GT-5R. I think it’s $25 on Amazon. I’m not sure I my previous reply made sense but is a UHF/VHF ham radio.

@lukebouch I read reviews from European buyers for the GT-5R, and it doesn’t seem to have the European frequencies. I see they’re selling the one you got over here though. I don’t know exactly my best use cases yet, so I must investigate some more.
