The release of @manton’s new notes app got me thinking about the icons for these different companion apps, and how they might look if they were designed to appear more like a family.
Too closely related? Possibly, but there’s something in this, I think.

@paulrobertlloyd Very clever. I like them. My initial thought is that it might be difficult to distinguish between them, but I am also thinking that with time I will just get the difference.
@paulrobertlloyd these are fantastic! True, they're really similar to each other at first sight, but as soon as you think about what each app does, it's impossible to forget which is which. Bravo!
@manton Thanks! I’m unsure if each icon needs an accent colour somewhere to help distinguish between them, and the Sunlit icon needs a little more refinement, but hopefully this demonstrates the idea of making these apps feel part of the greater whole.
