@kaa Happy to see that somebody else knows No-S! For me it's been, i'd have to say, more of a standard than a diet for years now, but i always appreciate the wholesomeness and sanity that it brings to eating issues.
@JMaxB @kaa I was using No-S for a few weeks prior to starting with a continuous glucose monitor. I'm going to get back into it now that I'm through the first week and have some understanding what is working for me and not. I should really write a post about this.
@JMaxB A fellow No-Ser :). I'm still new to the game, but over a year I have seen significant change in my weight even though I meandered there for a while. I imagine there is a plateau but haven't reached that yet.
@toddgrotenhuis The first few weeks are the hardest (no snacking in the evening was the hardest).
@kaa I suspect that "no snacks" is the most effective pillar of the whole thing. and yes, the most difficult.
@kaa I just need to commit to something like the No-S and go for it. I think it’s the most realistic “diet” option out there to stick with for the long term.
@joshuapsteele definitely! Biggest thumbs up. Its a way of life and honesty after a while you don't think about it. I would suggest logging all the days you follow it (it will take a few weeks to settle in) and then a few months later the weight will be falling off.
@joshuapsteele As the site says, it really only asks us to eat the way our grandparents ate. (Though I'm not sure that's true about the "no seconds" part.)
