@petebrown I’m frequently embarrassed by connections I make rather late myself.

Road networks are a very versatile but relatable analog to use. So many concepts at play there. I do use it to teach Kanban/WIP limits ideas. It’s also a good example for Theory of Constraints concepts, particularly what a constraint means. I’ve also used it for systems thinking/system dynamics discussions around feedback loops.

@joshducharme For sure. I think the road congestion idea is even just a great way to introduce people to the notion that "common sense"/intuitive solutions can often be wrong/counter-productive.
