@MrHenko I’ll definitely watch it whenever I stop coughing, because Blade Runner, but I hear what you’re saying about the original. It was a class apart, absolutely iconic, so I think we have to approach 2049 almost forgetting about that.

@colinwalker Indeed. It would have been interesting to have seen a version of 2049 that wasn't a Blade Runner sequel. Since you're going to see it soon I won't spoil anything, but even without discussing the details of it I can say that I think it could have stood on its own merits and probably been better of for it.

@MrHenko “sitting in you car talking to yourself” great. Enjoyed the microcast. I think I liked Blade Runner 2049 better than you. For me it still spoke about life and it’s end. (See also “Never Let Me Go”)

@johnjohnston I'm glad you enjoy my car adventure. :) Honestly, recording these outside of my home or private office makes me really self-concious. That is probably partly because I record them in a "foreign" language. Anyway, I'm glad you likes 2049! I didn't dislike it and I don't think it's a bad movie. I just can't make up my mind about it.

@MrHenko I don't think it is just speaking in another tongue. I need the door shut to record anything. Unless well away from the crowd.

@johnjohnston You are probably right that it's multiple factors that contributes to the feeling of awkwardness.
