Can I do a lazy web question here?

Does anyone know of a tool to pull photos from Instagram?

@joelhamill A ton of them, or the odd one once in a while ? If you add "media/?size=l" to the end of the photo's URL you'll get a full sized photo, ready to download. Not sure if this is what you're looking for..

@maique I'm thinking it might be time for me to let go of Instagram completely so, a tool that can grab all of the photos that I've posted.

@joelhamill You can download all your Instagram photos. That's what I did when I left Instagram two years ago. Here's the Help article.

Micro.blog for Mac can import them all to your microblog. It was a great joy to see all my photos on my own domain. If you don't use a Mac, maybe there are other ways to make that happen.

@jean Thank! I was sure that I remembered there was a way to get all my photos from Instagram, but couldn't remember how to get them. I've already requested them and I should get the .zip file in 2 days.

@joelhamill This sent me on a trip down memory lane via my Micro.blog Archive. 🥰 The Instagram photo import accounts for the first couple years of posts. Bonus: if you use the On This Day tool, the photos will show up on their publication dates.
