@PhoneBoy I get loads, too. I assumed they were just general comments spam rather than via webmentions - not that I know if there's a difference. Akismet catches them, though. I use a bit of code which auto-approves webmentions after you approve the first one from someone.

@vanessa @phoneboy A further wrinkle: if you check your comments screen on WP, have a column headed Column Type that clearly distinguishes Webmentions from Comments. You might want to check that.

@jeremycherfas So it does. The only one showing that way is from @sumudu via 10Cv5. Most of mine are via here, and they just show up as a "normal" comment. The spam - normal comments. I had that column without even realising!
