Once upon a time, back when toaster waffles were invented, some company came out with toaster corn bread sold frozen just like waffles. Bring that back.

@bradenslen I remember them and they were good! I believe it was Howard Johnson's Corn Toastees, based on a quick search of the internet.

@jean Thank goodness somebody else remembers them and it wasn't just a figment of my imagination! I was getting weird lockdown cornbread cravings over the last year which made me remeber them. I think they were around in the mid 1960's as near as I can figure.

@bradenslen The blueberry ones were good too.

I have fond memories of of Howard Johnson as a kid. It was a special treat to go there with my grandmother.

We recently did a Gameshow episode where someone tried to pass off 1970 as the year pistachio ice cream was invented, but I knew better ‘cause I always got that at HJs. 🍨
