Was asked for walnuts this morning by this extremely wet and bedraggled magpie (poor thing!). At least we’re not under flood watch here, unlike many other parts of the state, but we’re still set for heavy rain…
@odd Don't worry, I didn't! As soon as the photo was taken I crushed up and gave it the half-walnut I'd been holding in my other hand 😂
@jayeless That’s what I thought! 😃 That magpie reminds me of a seagull we had outside the Kon-Tiki museum lunch room. Almost exactly at noon, every day, it landed on the window sill(?)(on the outside), and started pecking on the window. We didn’t last long before we caved, and gave it some food. 🗿
