In all seriousness, I bought some (instead of dairy) a week ago on a whim and I’m a convert. It actually does taste so much better to me than dairy (plus it’s supposed to be better... www.jayeless.net
@jayeless I tried and to me it's a taste that I don't care for (as milk at least). But we all like different things.
@jemostrom Oh of course, everyone's tastes are unique 😊 I know I don't really love the tastes of soy or almond milk (at least compared to dairy). I was just pleasantly surprised that for me, oat milk wasn't just on par, but tastier.
@poetalegre I'm not sure what the selection is like where you are, but for me it was just at my local supermarket 😄 Perhaps it's worth seeking out and giving a try.
@jayeless I think you're probably right. We went through various milk-oids: rice, almond, soy, and have settled on oat milk as the best without question.
@jayeless I’m in Mexico so my thoughts are it will not be easily available. Still, I will look for it any time I shop.
@jayeless I'm lactose intolerant and switched to oat milk for my coffee a while ago and find the taste so much better than soy or almond milk. I buy the oat milk on special and then stash it away in the cupboard. No last minute dashes to the grocery store for milk!
