I'm curious to ask - do you cross-post from here to twitter? Currently weighing it up... I have a handful of followers (friendsh there who I think are interested in knowing what I'm up to & I feel good sharing life updates with, but also a big bunch of followers who I hardly have a relationship with... :/
@jasraj I publish to my personal site first, Micro.blog pulls in the RSS feed and cross-posts to Twitter, Tumblr, and Mastodon.
I think it's worth maintaining a presence on all the platforms you can.
@mdrockwell thank you, you make a good point there. A couple of weeks in I'm continuing to figure out how/what I'd like to share on here. It's been great so far, and I think I'll keep Twitter syncing 'on' for now. I've also been experimenting with using reflection.app to start my 'working day' (i.e. from the when laptop is switched on).
