Trying to limit myself to only having two books on the go at any one time this year. One fiction and one non-fiction. Part of that will mean deciding to stop reading a book if I’m not enjoying it or getting anything from it.

@philbowell One fiction and one non-fiction is a great plan, and is exactly my approach. I'm trying, anyway. So far this year I'm down to 2 of each so I have work to do :). I have a policy of "50 pages or out" for new books. I used to give them 100 pages but who's got time for that?

@jack ha! Yes, it’s easier said than done. I ended up with too many non-fiction on the go last year. I like the idea of “50 pages or out” it would probably help me stay on the one of each train more easily.
