Ask Micro.blog: Does anybody know of text editors that support the Dokuwiki syntax? I’ve found Textastic and nothing else – not even BBEdit or Atom.

@canion TextMate has a dokuwiki bundle. I’ve never used that bundle though.

@johnjohnston Thanks, I've got that loaded up now. I've never used TextMate before; but wasn't it everybody's darling about a decade ago?

@canion I believe so, I think I must have started using it about then. Still works for me, but I am a primary teacher who used a text editor not a developer, I do love the app. I quite often post with the blogging bundle.

@canion I was going to suggest Sublime Text, but the cloud-based Package Control system used to install extensions is down today! Their Docuwiki extension seems to be a port of the TextMate one anyway.

@syneryder I had downloaded Sublime Text, but hadn't checked it out yet.

@canion Looks like emacs has a couple of options: there's a major mode for highlighting etc. and a way to do remote editing. (I've not tried them).

@jack I'm scared of emacs. I have PTSD of trying to use it pre-internet when I was about 9 years old, and no access to 3rd party help!
