Inspired by @bsag and the work of @hjertnes I put together a quick and dirty emacs init.el to use on tilde.town. It is pretty bare bones at the moment, but does most if not all of what I need it to do. It feels like spacemacs but in only about 170 lines-o-code!

@eli Nice! It’s impressive how much you can do with a small amount of configuration.

@eli Also, I had never heard of tilde.town before, but it looks fascinating. I’ll check it out!

@bsag tilde.town is a lot of fun! I love that it gives users a whole heaps of LISP environments for free! I don’t spend enough time on it to know much about the community, yet. But it seems pretty rad.

@eli @bsag I got on tilde.club when Paul Ford started the whole Tilde thing but it's gotten pretty quiet. I only rarely update tilde.club/~jbaty or log in but I still love the idea. tilde.town looks like it might actually have active users.

@jack Likewise, I haven't updated my tilde.club site in a long long time. But I like knowing it's there and go browse it from time to time.
