@manton This brings up a question I hadn't thought of before - is there a way to have a "private" micro.blog the same way you can have a private Twitter account?

@iChris No, because it's based on public blogs there's no actually private accounts. Instead you can make it semi-private by not including the posts in the Micro.blog timeline and not linking them anywhere, so it's hard to find the blog unless you know the URL.

@manton Just wanting to bump @ichris’ question as a feature request 🤓 I totally respect y’all’s product prioritization, but I’m hoping personally that it makes sense soon to have private micro.blogs.

@robo @ichris We’ve thought a lot about it but I haven’t figured out a good way to do it that is consistent with our goals and actually secure if we call it private. It will take some time.

@manton @robo I realize it's way outside your focus, but the idea of Micro Blog as a training ground for families to use for learning how to write and share on the internet seems like a lot of fun. But also incredibly complex trying to offer "private" alongside a public model.
