@jack what do you use it for ?

@hjertnes It's my personal calendar and log. Sometimes habit tracker. I try doing a small cartoon drawing on every daily page about one event that day. I actually only end up doing it once or twice a week but even at that rate I end up with a really fun artifact. Tried one as a bullet journal last year but I don't like it for that.

@jack cool. I had them for a couple of years a long time ago. The paper doesn’t work for me

@hjertnes What!? The tamoe river paper is the best part. There's like 1,000 pages and the notebook is still quite thin. Takes any ink I throw at it, including watercolor (barely). I think you're the first person I've heard that didn't love the paper.

@jack I’m left handed, and with broader nibs it take way too long to dry to be usable for me

@jack @hjertnes Er, Tomoe River but still. I don't love the paper for use with pencils much, but I do for everything else.

@hjertnes I can see where that would be a problem. I'm a leftie also, but I find the pages are small enough that I can avoid the worst of it. And I do tend to use fine nibs and fast-drying ink, which helps.

@jack I prefer broads(pun intended), and I don’t use fast drying inks because most of them are made by that noodlers asshole.

@hjertnes blotting paper? i use it anyway (at least the one supplied with Nanami Paper notebooks), solves the problem instantly, regardless of what hand you use. If you've not tried it, highly recommend it.
