@mrkrndvs This caught my eye because I attended a rich, white, suburban private school. I remember my more advanced math classes being dominated by girls, but the school was in general. Now I'm wondering if the acheivement gap is correlated with the overall gender breakdown of the school. I can see how it would be: if your class is mostly girls, then you're more likely to see girls excel at math, and seeing that might increase other girls' confidence in their own math skills.
