@manton How do y’all feel about remaining in Texas given the continued march toward authoritarianism? The state GOP has gone completely off the deep end. They’ve even discussed secession again.

Hopefully when Texas does secede it will allow regular folks like you leave the new country.

@fahrni I take some solace in that despite what a long shot Beto is, it is still more likely that he's our next governor than that anything in the GOP platform becomes mainstream thinking. Texas is in another transition and I think will edge back toward the left. It can be frustrating to wait.
