@jack have thoughts on Lightsail? I've been eyeing it for a while now, but hesitant to wade into those waters.

@eli It felt very similar to Linode's or DigitalOcean's process. Too early to tell how it holds up but I found it easy and way less hassle than normal EC2 instance configuration.

@jack interesting to see Amazon moving into this smaller-scale, hopefully more user-focused space. I wonder if any of the UI/UX of this service will find its way into the other AWS services? It'd be nice to see the set of AWS services begin to have a lower point of entry

@jack keybase.io also does git hosting, and as side effect it’s end-to-end encrypted too. Their main focus isn’t git, but it’s an option and works quite well.

@oyam I've been using Keybase for a few repos to see how it goes. It's likely that my private, never-shared repos will all end up there. Keybase has been on a roll.
