Just before the new year, I updated my iPhone home screen for the first time in a while. New apps: Calm and Audible.

@Munish @toddgrotenhuis I'm really enjoying Hey and may switch more accounts to it when they roll out custom domain name support.

@ridwan The 2nd screen is all folders. 🙂 I also adopted the trick of a blank row at the top, which I still really like to keep it simple.

@manton @munish I support them in part because I like the way they do business. If not for that, I'd probably still be on fastmail. I really like the product, but think it will be "worth it" when it can handle calendars and custom domains.

@manton @toddgrotenhuis Hey does look good, but I am too scared to ty it. Another excellent service, will be another subscription for me. Mine are racking up these days. When do you stop, with such good stuff out there? lol

@manton Hey looks incredibly cool, I'm kind of afraid to look into its accessibility. But absolutely love their approach to things.

@manton I have to say, I am really liking the new iOS app library thing. I didn't like it at first because I have my home screens organized just the way I like them, but after hiding them and depending on the library for a little bit, I find I'm actually finding things faster. Siri's also gotten quite good about guessing what app I might want to use next, it's almost scary. :)

@manton Interesting, I've dropped apps from my home screen this year too, except mine are replaced by a couple of widgets instead.

@SteveSawczyn I've found Siri suggestions to be good as well, maybe because I'm always searching for the same 3-4 apps that aren't on my home screen.

@dustinbucher I use it for writing drafts for longer posts and for taking notes. I have thousands of little text files on Dropbox, so I can use Ulysses or iA Writer or whatever my current favorite Markdown editor is.

@manton Siri certainly has grown up a bit over the last few iOS versions. I need to work on trusting it more.
