@dwalbert you can enjoy them vicariously through my posts. Or maybe get some more. I like mourning doves too; I’ve heard some people don’t like their call, but I find it pleasant, and the noise their wings make when flying. Pigeons, on the other hand... I wouldn’t mind them if they didn’t swarm and clean out the feeders so much.
@dejus When the kids are out of school and we can move out of town where there's more space, I mean to have poultry again. I don't mind the doves at all; they make me think of little old gray men, pensively pacing wringing their hands behind their backs, scanning the ground for something they lost and can't remember what it is.
