I’ve officially moved back to WordPress. It is a bit of a pain and overly complex, but I was able to import most of my old posts into one place, which is pretty amazing.
@dandycat sorry I missed this. I think it’s just a bit more publisher oriented than I wanted; WP has more flex and indieweb support. And I wanted better mobile support—though the Wordpress app is far from perfect.
@scojjac I completely get what you mean. Ghost has come a long way, but you're right, its focus is strictly in a single place. Not a bad thing if you're looking just to publish some words, and it's arguably what's made them so popular these days. Still, though, with all the new money they've got coming in I'd expect to see a better showing on mobile.
