Possible solutions to realizing my passport has expired… Set a reminder every 10 years? Travel internationally much more often? 🗺
@manton why not both? 😎 I have reminders in Things for important documents. But it's easy for us, living the immigrant life :)
@manton How hard/easy is it to renew an expired passport in the US? Asking out of curiousity. They've made the process much easier lately in India.
@manton travel to see things juxtaposed because that is how big leaps in creativity happen. Cali friends visiting me in Ireland made their internal travel via trains and buses. Lots of juxtaposing in the slow earth-friendly lane that way.

@sarvagnan It’s mostly filling out a form, taking a new photo, and snail-mailing everything in. Biggest annoyance is the uncertainty of waiting 4-6 weeks.
@manton When I got my US citizenship earlier this year and subsequently applied for a passport I chose the expedited option as I had been warned of a long wait as a result of COVID backlogs. I don’t know the truth or otherwise of that, but I had my passport in one week.
@manton The snail mailing sounds like a major pain. Here they changed almost everything to online processes. I only had to go in for an in person "interview" for them to make sure that I was actually who I said I was. Got the passport the next week
