@eli sounds fun. So that host won’t apply the Hometown fork of mastodon. That’s understandable, it could be unmanageable if each customer needed that level of customization. That hometown fork does allow posts to not be federated, to keep the server small and private. A huge point in Darius’s article. So if I do this my first stop is linode :)
