I liked the soft look of these clouds. They seemed appropriate for a Monday morning where I’m a little short of sleep and want something quiet.
@cliffordbeshers They certainly deliver. Is this a seasonal phenomenon? We usually have darker more rainy days in the fall, like today. ☔️
@odd Usually not here at all in summer, but this year half of August was cloudy. Then September has been mostly sunny. I think the weather in the eastern Sierra is sort of like the end of a rope in the wind. Any variation in the wind at the head of the rope results in wild oscillations at the tail.
@odd I would add... I live where the high, cold mountain winds run into the rising heat from the front edge of the Great Basin. Cold meets hot makes for great drama.
