YES! It took way too long for something like this to happen, and I hope it succeeds. This sounds like a much better solution than a million paywalls and logins. I’m signing up now.
@chartier I am intrigued by this. Makes me think of the concept of micropayments I read about in Wired all those years ago…
@hjalm Yep. But a Netflix-like service just watched what articles we visit and divvies up the payments for us. I'm very into this idea, with the acknowledgement that privacy must be respected.
But their site says "we'll never sell your data." We'll see. But I'm trying it.
