Does anyone use iCloud Drive exclusively? I’m currently using One Drive and it is… ok. But why pay for both? Considering moving to iCloud Drive.

@cdevroe Yep, 100%. It has everything in it. Although I don't share much, it works a treat every time for my limited use case. Only word of warning is that it's like a blackbox at times though, because it doesn't give you any indication of what it's doing. They changed that a bit in Ventura though...
@cdevroe iCloud Drive works fine for me. But I stopped putting git repos on it because of one bad sync about 3 years ago.
@cdevroe I do, and I’ve had no issues honestly. I use OneDrive at work and I truly despise it, especially the iOS apps when I was working from home which I found clunky. Like you I’m paying for Apple One and storage already, but ignoring that I don’t need anything else.
@cdevroe Yes, I do. A non-profit that I sit on the Board of uses Dropbox to share documents, but that’s it. Everything is now in iCloud Drive and I’m happy with it.
@cdevroe I use iCloud Drive exclusively now that Shortcuts can output to any folder in iCloud. Was nice to get rid of Dropbox once that happened. I just share folders (like our daily journals) with my partner and that’s it.
@cdevroe that is that only cloud storage that I pay for right now (and shared with family). I have One Drive and Google drive (a work thing), but I use rclone.org on Linux (RPi) to access it (encrypted).
@cdevroe I do and haven't had any issues with it (I even put Obsidian on it!). I do use my free Dropbox account for my Blot blog but only for that.
@cdevroe not exclusively but I’ve been using it enough over the last year that I’m not renewing Dropbox pro in Sept.
@alongtheray I guess I'm ok moving a few terabytes to it! :) Thank you!
