@mikehaynes @manton While we're talking about the Mac app... that plus button is awfully tiny for this old man.
@cdevroe @mikehaynes Yeah, that "+" is terrible but I added it as a fallback for older versions of macOS. Even though Big Sur hasn't shipped yet, the app is really optimized for it and has a real icon when running on Big Sur. (I thought Big Sur would be out by now.)
@manton @mikehaynes Ah! I didn't think of that. Noted. Speaking of, the way things are going I doubt I'll be updating to Big Sur until spring. Most of the reports I've seen of the betas have been pretty dismal. Especially re: Photos (which I use a lot). My guess is that it will ship right before or immediately following an Apple Silicon Mac event in November.
@manton Does the Mac app do some apostrophe replacement on the fly? Now and then I notice my cursor jumps back to the middle of my sentence while typing - and it seems to primarily happen when I type ‘
@cdevroe What version of macOS? Micro.blog doesn't do anything with apostrophes, but I've noticed that recently too in Big Sur, so it must be a new interaction glitch with something else that changed.
