@cdevroe State restoration is up to every app to implement. Apple has an API to help developers implement it, but the documentation for the API doesn’t make any sense.

@cdevroe Totally agree. It feels like a hidden developer is in control, not oneself!

@mjdescy I didn't realize that. I'm sure there is also some underlying advantage to having every user (when you have millions or hundreds of millions of users) to start back at zero each time. But it is my least liked thing about iOS. On the Mac I can keep things put!
