@milesmcbain Exciting! I’d be interested to hear how you get on with it once you’ve finished it. I love mine. So much so that I’m making a second, with RGB LEDs this time.

@bsag someone share your blog post about yours on Twitter. Glad yours came together so easily! I've had a few mishaps. Waiting on a part, but hopefully done very soon.

We've chosen the exact same specs!

Did you find flashing the Elite C a bit fiddly? I'm not convinced my reset buttons work. I got there in the end with the :dfu target from command line.

Also did you use foam on bottom as per guide? If do what kind?

@milesmcbain crkbd twins! The second one is going less smoothly because I chose to install LEDs this time - they are really hard to solder!

Flashing the Elite-Cs went ok both times though. If you check the Autoflash box in the QMK firmware app it worked ok for me. I think you can also short a couple of pins on the controller to reset if your button isn’t working, but I’m not sure which ones.

The case on the first one is just a basic FR4 plate case, but I may go back and replace it with foam for the base later. I’m using the same case for my current one, but planning to design some kind of tray case using acrylic and plywood.
