@bsag @klandwehr I finished Endeavour Season 6 last night. I agree about the out-of-character choices. I think real issue that’s kept me away from catching up is that mustache! I really do have a crush on earlier, clean-shaven Morse.
I did like the final clash, and therefore the season finale. And the music is so good. And the setting. Glad I caught up.
@macgenie @klandwehr The moustache is a cry for help I think! As far as I remember, he wisely shaved it off in Series 7.
I’ve just got to the end of Series 6 again myself this evening. I still maintain that it is out of character but plausibly out of character if that makes sense?
Series 7 is even darker in some ways. I really hope they can finish 8 soon. I understand that’s the last ever (otherwise they would crash the first Morse episodes 😉)

I hadn’t thought about the fact that there is a natural stop in the timeline.
I wish there were more scenes with Abigail Thaw.
