My blog on the day of the Nisqually Earthquake in 2001.

@brentsimmons I so vividly remember that one. I was conducting a business review with all the directors of the business units, and all of a sudden, the Sunset North campus in Bellevue started jolt and roll. I got home and pictures had fell off the wall, my TV fell over and broke, and my dog was cowering in the corner. Sureal day.

@brentsimmons That was weird. I'd been thru dozens of earthquakes in Cali, one in Idaho, but it didn't register with me it was possible in Seattle. All of us nerds at H-P were slow to go outside, and then we couldn't decide when to go in.

@brentsimmons was on the 21st floor of Union Square in downtown. My first earthquake. Was surreal and insanely scary! We moved to Buffalo three years later and weirdly enough experienced our second earthquake here!
